SPIRIT DSP 1H sales revenue up 80 percent

SPIRIT DSP, the world’s leading voice and video over IP (VVoIP) engines provider, said that is has achieved record sales revenue growth of 80 percent for the first six months of 2012 over the first half of 2011.

The company is crediting this growth to the mainstream proliferation of mobile VoIP and PC videoconferencing software products.

«As an enabling VVoIP technology provider, SPIRIT has a unique glimpse into the future of this rapid-paced market and we’re seeing our customers planning fast-track roadmaps to deliver on the promise of ‘anytime, anywhere’ quality video calling in an effort to reduce churn to OTT providers, protect their brands and increase customer satisfaction of these value-added service offerings», said SPIRIT’s Chairman Andrew Sviridenko.

In the first half of 2012, global service providers achieved considerable adoption, widespread market deployment and expansion of VVoIP communication services with the use of SPIRIT’s flagship TeamSpirit Engines, further cementing SPIRIT’s position as the world’s largest VVoIP enabling technology provider.
